Tara Kittle

VP, Creative Development

Tara Leigh Kittle began her journey with Joe Dante at the back of the Music Box Theatre at the Chicago Film Festival where her USC short film, “Just Cake” was winning an award while Joe was receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award. The longest serving employee in his company, Tara first worked for Joe as his Assistant on “Looney Tunes: Back in Action” then transitioned through various roles in his company. Tara first earned a degree in English Literature from the University of Virginia then received a Master of Fine Arts in Production with an emphasis in Screenwriting from the University of Southern California School of Cinema-Television. Also an honorary part of Joe’s ensemble of actors, Tara can be found in ‘The Screwfly Solution’, ‘Splatter’ and the voice of the pharmaceutical commercial in ‘The Hole’. Currently she is working as the Vice President of Creative Development, developing a slate of projects including a television show “The Assassin Seven”, a low budget romantic comedy “Flight Philly to Love” as well as a personal memoir “Resuscitated”, which chronicles Tara’s early years working for Joe, production on her first feature film (which was never finished) then her descent into Lyme Disease. It’s been quite the wild ride working for someone as brilliant as Joe, she’s grateful to have had a seat on this journey.
